Every week, millions of Scouts raise their hands and make a promise. It's not a pledge to an organization; it's a lifelong commitment to themselves, their families, and the community they share. You are the key in helping us prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetime by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Scout Law.
The Scout Oath
On my honor, I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law; to help other people at all times; to keep myself physically strong; mentally awake, and morally straight.
The Scout Law
A Scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful,
friendly, courteous, kind, obedient,
cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent.
You can help make a difference in the life of our youth today. I you believe in any of the three parts of the Scout Oath or the twelve points of the Scout Law there is a Scout in you. Here are three simple ways how you can help deliver the number one youth program in the world to more youth in South Florida:
Sponsoring a Scout for a full year by contributing $250.
Register now, create your own Fundraising Team, set your own goal and start emailing friends.
Spread the word about our worthy cause using the social media tools available here.
We hope we can count on you to take one of these three challenges and help us reach our goal to brighten the future of our local youth.
The real way to gain happiness is to give it to others. ~ Lord Baden-Powell
